JBL Link 300 Review

JBL might be giving Amazon a run for its money. JBL’s newest speaker is one of my new favorite things and if that wasn’t enough it has Google Assistant built in. So we have all seen plenty of powerful wireless speakers but this one is pretty top notch. On the market now is this cool new gadget called the JBL Link 300 speaker and it is the ideal homing device. This smart speaker is part of JBl’s line of wireless speakers and it is a much cheaper alternative to the Apple HomePod. (So Apple might wanna step back on this too.)

The JBL Link 300 is a voice activated speaker with far voice recognition so you can give commands from anywhere in your house. Of course, as mentioned earlier, it has built in Google Assistant and you can easily set up your speaker with the Google Home app on iOS and Android. Along with Wi-Fi and bluetooth, Chromecast is also built in so you can stream music, radio, or a podcast straight from your mobile device to your speaker.

This wireless speaker is pretty solid in terms of specs as well. Weighing in at 1.7 kg, it has a frequency response of 55Hz to 22kHz, an output power of 25W and its supported audio formats are HE-AAC, LC-AAC, MP3, Vorbis, WAV (LPCM), FLAC,  and Opus. Don’t worry we haven’t forgotten about the sound either. Powered by the cloud is 96 kHz of high quality, room filling sound that you can wireless stream from your smartphone or tablet thanks to 5 GHz of connection network support.

So if you plan on getting a smart speaker, you should definitely get this wireless speaker with out no question. The JBL link 300 smart speaker is the Google Home Max that is affordable and will fit right at home. If you already own Alexa or an Apple Homepod or any other smart speaker than that’s cool but if you’re still searching for awesome tech that fills the room with quality sound than this one takes the cake by far.
